Project description: This project involves demolition of the deep-sea fishing theater in the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium and relocation of a water exhibit and support systems to install new structural steel for what project officials say is the largest jellyfish tank in North America. A portion of the WOW roof was removed to allow for the installation of the new jellyfish tank, which weighs over 50 tons. The tank will feature a theater-style view for visitors. Torgerson Design Partners LLC is the architect. Engineers are J&M Engineering LLC, structural, and Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
