Project description: Project officials say the district’s Early Childhood Program has outgrown its current location constructed in the 1960s. The entire building will be renovated, and an addition includes storm-safe classrooms. Dake Wells Architecture Inc. is the architect. Engineering work is by Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Inc., civil; J&M Engineering LLC, structural; and True Engineering Group LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. SWT Design Inc. (St. Louis) is the landscape architect.
The first downtown Springfield branch for Arvest Bank opened; a longtime licensed massage therapist became a first-time business owner; and 7 Brew Coffee opened its fourth shop in Springfield.
