Stillwell Commons renovation
525 S. Campbell Ave.
Oke-Thomas & Associates Inc. designed a renovation of the Stillwell Commons senior housing complex including electrical, HVAC and plumbing. The $8.5 million project features primarily interior upgrades to the nine-story building and space reconfiguration to meet ADA accessibility and function. Project officials say tenants of the property, which is owned and managed by the Housing Authority of Springfield, will be relocated during construction. The work is funded by the investment group and state tax credit. Snyder Construction Group LLC is the general contractor for the project that is slated for completion by February 2024.
