OTC eSports Computer Lab
1001 E. Chestnut Expressway
Interpres Building Solutions LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for Ozarks Technical Community College’s eSports Computer Lab, a new offering from the college. This project is a renovation of an existing computer lab into a practice facility for OTC’s eSports team. Project officials say the space includes 13 gaming stations, a conference area, practice area, student lockers, a kitchenette, and a lounge space, with unique design elements throughout. During construction, a structural brace was exposed, and the design team, led by Paragon Architecture LLC, opted to work around it, surrounding the brace with glass to maximize visibility of the lab from the lobby. Flooring, wall and ceiling features divide the space along with color-changing lights that cast a glow of the eSports team colors. Crossland Construction Co. Inc. Is the general contractor for the $293,700 project that is slated to be completed this month.
