Project description: Missouri State University is infilling a portion of the second floor of the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center for an expansion of the Efactory and the Cooperative Engineering Program. The Efactory expansion adds eight business incubator spaces, a conference room and a training area. The engineering program is getting additional design and research labs, distance learning classrooms and tutoring rooms. Project architect is The Clark Enersen Partners PC (Lincoln, Nebraska), which also is handling the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering work.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
