Project description: Mid-Missouri Bank is building a three-story headquarters with a rooftop terrace just 100 yards south of its current operations center. It’s designed with a 3,000-square-foot, full-service bank on the first floor, an amenity not in the current center, according to bank officials. The third floor will feature bridged walkways through an open foyer, and outside the parking lot will have electric-car charging stations. Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective is the project architect on designs that emphasize window placement for natural light. Nearly 80% of the south side of the building is glass, officials say. Buxton Kubik Dodd also provided the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering work. Toth and Associates Inc. is the civil and structural engineer.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
