Project description: A former Greene County-owned parking lot is being transformed into a two-story operations center. Branco Enterprises won the project bid last fall out of six construction companies. The center will consolidate the county’s janitorial and maintenance services, print shop, microfilm, mailroom and central supplies. It also is designed with loading docks and warehouse space – features officials say are not found at other county buildings. The project architect is nForm Architecture LLC, with engineering by Greene County staff, civil; Bergmann Engineering Co. LLC, structural; and Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Missouri State University’s science building, built in 1971 and formerly called Temple Hall, is being reconstructed and updated.
