Project description: Bryan Properties LLC is developing a residence hall with a four-story parking garage topped with three levels of living space across from Missouri State University’s campus. The residence hall is designed with 200 double occupancy bedrooms, as well as a private bathroom on each floor. Gary Stewart, director of MSU’s residence life, housing and dining services, said the first floor would include a dining facility, the first level of parking and a fresh food market. Stewart said MSU plans to buy the property from the developer for no more than $24 million, once completed. Humphreys & Partners Architects LP (Dallas) is the project architect, and engineers are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; and Humphreys & Partners, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
