If Scott Rose could give advice to his younger self in 2002, he would preach perseverance and to stick to the job through the ups and downs.
“I’ve seen the good times with the bad times,” he says.
The economic downturn in 2008 was a test of survival for Rose. The Leadership Springfield Class 28 member says being able to give good counsel and working to stay relevant during that time helped him weather the storm and continue into his 22nd year of practicing real estate.
Since his induction into 40 Under 40, Rose has received the Margaret Martin Cooperative Spirit Award, Lifetime Member of Million Dollar Producers and Salesperson of the Year from the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors.
Throughout his career, Rose says he’s also learned the value of giving back to the community. He’s served as board chairman for both BluCurrent Credit Union and The Victim Center Inc., along with secretary for Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast.
