As co-founder of outdoor tour guide company 37 North Expeditions LLC, Danny Collins wants to make nature more accessible for everyone. Launching the company with his wife, Cristina Bustamante, in 2018, Collins believes 37 North Expeditions is putting the Ozarks on the map as a place to travel for outdoor adventures. The couple started the business as the lone employees but have since added around 10 tour guides to help lead trips. The adventures include hikes, floats or horseback rides, followed by visits to wineries, microbreweries and other destinations. When not exploring the outdoors, Collins works full-time as a developer for The Vecino Group LLC. He also is a member of The Network, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce organization for young professionals.
What are you doing to make the Ozarks better? 37 North Expeditions is aimed at making the Ozarks a better place to live by providing opportunities for more of us to get outside and focus on healthy mind, body and spirit. The Vecino Group is also working to make Springfield a better place with projects like IDEA Commons that is going to truly revitalize our urban downtown.
