St. Louis Public Schools hires superintendent

The St. Louis Public Schools Board of Education appointed a new superintendent.

Keisha Scarlett starts July 1. She's worked at Seattle Public Schools for 24 years and has been assistant superintendent of academics since 2021.

St. Louis Public Schools Superintendent Kelvin Adams retired at the end of 2022.
