Abby’s Acai Co. relocating from 14 Mill Market

Posted online

One of the tenants of 14 Mill Market is relocating from the Nixa food hall.

Abby’s Acai Co. announced in a Facebook post last week that the company's food truck soon would be located exclusively in the Rountree commercial area at Cherry Street and Pickwick Avenue. The company's last day at 14 Mill Market is scheduled to be April 26.

"We are excited for a new adventure with the food truck, which is where this all started almost four years ago," the post signed by co-owner Abby Voelker-Casiday reads.

The post indicates the move would allow Voelker-Casiday to work toward her goal of starting a private practice as a counselor. She's worked as a school counselor while also running Abby's Acai Co., according to the post.

Abby’s Acai Co. was started as a food-truck business in 2021 by Voelker-Casiday and her mother, Kayme Voelker, according to past reporting. The restaurant was among the first tenants of 14 Mill Market when the $3.7 million food hall opened in summer 2023.
