Mostly Serious LLC on May 8 received the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 W. Curtis Strube Small Business Award.
Other Small Business Award finalists were:
• Air Services Heating & Cooling/All Service Professional Plumbing, which provides residential heating and air unit repairs and replacements, among other services;
• The Coffee Ethic LLC, a downtown coffee shop launched in 2007 and now run by founder Tom Billionis’ wife, Michelle, following Tom’s death in 2016;
• ESC Inc. Consulting Engineers, a 30-year-old mechanical, electrical, civil and structural engineering firm, as well as a provider of construction design consulting and automation services; and
• Loehr Chiropractic and Acupuncture LLC, a practice launched in 2014 by Dr. Steven Loehr that offers medical services without the use of surgery or medication.
Dame Chiropractic LLC emerged as the new name of Harshman Chiropractic Clinic LLC with the purchase of the business; Leo Kim added a second venture, Keikeu LLC, to 14 Mill Market; and Mercy Springfield Communities opened its second primary care clinic in Ozark.
