Since opening, Loehr Chiropractic and Acupuncture has added 22 full-time and contracted employees and a second location. Dr. Steven Loehr says the practice has an annual growth rate of 40%. “Loehr Chiropractic and Acupuncture has introduced a unique, and desperately needed, model of optimum wellness to the greater Springfield market and has done so with industry-leading metrics from day one,” he says.

TRAILBLAZER
Loehr says he was the first pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care practitioner in southwest Missouri. He is board eligible in Reproductive Medicine from the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, and the Academy Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics certified him and Dr. Aimee LaBrie in pediatrics and pregnancy. They say they’re the only providers in the region with the distinction.

HOLISTIC
Loehr says he wanted to open a practice that offered patients a range of treatments and services without surgery or drugs. The company offers complete care from birth to adulthood and therapies include decompression, cold laser, ultrasound, massage, allergy and asthma treatments, acupuncture, and athletic training and rehab.

18%
The practice is up against an industry stigma. Loehr says only 18% of Americans see a chiropractor. The practice is utilizing its social media channels and advertising messages, and a partnership with direct primary care provider Command Family Medicine, to debunk myths on the care the doctors provide.
