Workplace Violence: Have a Plan in Place

“I feel that any time someone feels their safety is threatened, they should be calling 911,” says Eric Schroeder, acting Corporal with the Springfield Police Department. Schroeder says if you’re concerned about workplace violence, whether from a customer or an employee, you should call law enforcement. “We need to have this on our forefront, just like a tornado, just like a fire, just like any other emergencies we have,” says Schroeder. Have a plan in place. Tell your employees. If you see something, say something.
