The next phase of an agriculture-turned-commercial development is bringing a new wedding venue to Christian County.
Cassidy Station Events is scheduled to launch Aug. 13 at Cassidy Station, a Nixa venture from Kyle and Hollie Estes at a restored historic farmstead, according to a news release. The latest phase of the agritourism development adds spaces for weddings and other events.
"The new venues offer a variety of indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception locations to provide unique options for each couple’s wedding day," officials said in the release.
The event spaces are called the Haybarn, Milkbarn, Lower Barn, Depot Building, Patio and Amphitheater. The spaces additionally have suites for wedding parties to get ready before their events that can accommodate up to 150 people, according to the release.
Cassidy Station previously opened a flower shop and mercantile store on the property.
