T-Mobile has penned an agreement to buy most of U.S. Cellular in a deal valued at $4.4 billion.
The deal includes U.S. Cellular's stores, some of its wireless spectrum and its customer portfolio.
U.S. Cellular will retain 70% of its wireless spectrum, according to CNBC.
