St. Charles buys land for Frenchtown redevelopment

St. Charles has purchased land as part of plans to redevelop the Frenchtown neighborhood.

The city purchased three properties for $800,000. They could be made into public parking lots.

The city has a 20-year plan to attract private development to Frenchtown.
