CoxHealth Nixa clinic
430 Old Wilderness Road, Nixa
CJW Transportation Consultants LLC is the civil engineer for what CoxHealth officials are calling a “super clinic.” Located off of U.S. Route 160, north of Highway 14, the $10 million Nixa clinic is one of two that CoxHealth is adding for primary and urgent care in Christian County. With H Design Group LLC as project architect, the 30,000-square-foot facility is designed for pediatrics offices and a space for physical therapy. J.E. Dunn Construction Co. is the general contractor, and Imeg Corp. (Illinois) is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. This expected completion date is set for the fall.
A safe room and classroom addition at Willard Central Elementary School will be used by the music, arts and athletic programs for a district that had 4,536 students last year, according to Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education figures, but school officials say enrollment is projected to grow.
