The Riverfront Times in St. Louis has sold and laid off all of its staff, according to a report by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Riverfront Times Executive Editor Sarah Fenske told the Post-Dispatch that Big Lou Holdings sold the publication to an undisclosed buyer.
The Riverfront Times, St. Louis' alternative weekly newspaper, had six full-time newsroom employees and one part-time staffer, Fenske told the Post-Dispatch. She said two other reporters were laid off a couple weeks ago.
