Netflix told shareholders the company plans to roll out paid account sharing.
"As we roll out paid sharing, members in many countries will also have the option to pay extra if they want to share Netflix with people they don't live with," company officials said in a letter to shareholders.
Plans to "more broadly" enforce paid sharing is expected later in the first quarter, according to the letter.
