Ashley Fletcher, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, says when you’re dealing with someone you perceive as unreasonable, take a step back and understand there is probably a reason for their behavior. She recommends giving them some space and understanding, but setting firm boundaries. “When someone’s being abusive or not respectful to you, those things aren’t okay,” Fletcher says.
