- Placemaking has a huge role with economic impact and the role that parks plays is a big one that is often unseen. You have the quality of life aspect and you have these timeless memories that people create as maybe they're getting engaged or maybe their baby's first steps are in a park.
Plus you have the property value of the homeowners where if they are close to a park or a trail, their property value increases anywhere from 10 to 15%. From more of a tourism and tournament standpoint, we have and host over 50 annual regional and local tournaments every year. Our top six tournaments generate $15 million in annual visitor spending and that's huge.
We have many opportunities to partner with the parks. It could be through your employee wellness plan, maybe you need a little shot in the arm for something different and something new. We have our amazing golf courses that we can tie into as well as ice skating and the zoo.
So, some unique experiences that you just can't find. And plus, in terms of other sponsorship opportunities, we have events that we put on that are huge. We have the Turkey Trot that brings nearly 9,000 participants. Plus we have signage opportunities at our baseball fields and softball complexes, as well as naming opportunities, if you wanted to put your name on a building.
