Gov. Mike Parson made a judgeship appointment for the 31st Judicial Circuit in Greene County.
Josephine “Jody” Larison Stockard, of Springfield, was picked for a vacant associate circuit judge role, according to a news release. T. Todd Myers, who previously held the role, was promoted to circuit judge for the 31st Judicial Circuit last year.
Stockard has been a federal Department of Justice employee for more than seven years, working as an assistant U.S. attorney since 2018, according to her LinkedIn profile. She’s also served three years as Greene County's assistant prosecuting attorney and as a legislative staffer to former Gov. Matt Blunt.
