Ozarks Fox AM co-host exiting show

Posted online

Kelly Smith, co-host of the Ozarks Fox AM television morning show, is exiting her role.

The TV show that airs on Fox affiliate KRBK, owned by Nexstar Media Inc., announced Smith's plans to leave in a Facebook post yesterday.

"She has been with us since the beginning, and we are very sad to see her go," the post reads. "While you will still occasionally see her on television, this will be her final week as a full-time member of the team, and Friday will be her going-away show."

The post did not indicate how KRBK would select a successor, and officials could not be reached for comment by deadline.

In an on-air segment this morning, Smith said after resting for a bit, she would work in skin care, do commercials, sing and launch a YouTube channel on the Ozarks, as well as health, beauty and lifestyle topics.

"I look forward to being creative," she said. "Thank you so much for watching the show. We have the best audience in the world, and I could not be more grateful."

Smith co-hosts Ozarks Fox AM with Jeremy Rabe.
