The O'Reilly and Wooten families have made a $1.5 million matching donation pledge to Drury University's capital campaign.
The challenge, through which the families will match donations dollar-for-dollar, runs through May 31, according to a news release. Funding will go toward Drury's $50 million Fortify the Future campaign.
"Drury is immensely thankful for the unwavering support of the O'Reilly and Wooten families," Drury interim President John Beuerlein said in the release. "The O'Reilly and Wooten families exemplify the powerful advantage that sets our graduates up for exceptional outcomes, which is the hallmark of a Drury education."
The donation pledge is called the O'Reilly - Wooten 150th Anniversary Challenge in homage to the university's anniversary.
Drury spokesperson Jasmine Cooper said the Fortify the Future campaign has raised $34 million of its $50 million goal.
