Miller Engineering PC
Miller Engineering PC moved Nov. 11 into new headquarters at 3831 S. Timbercreek Ave., just in front of its former office in a multitenant building. Officials with the 13-employee firm, led by President
Travis Miller, declined to disclose the 8,700-square-foot building’s cost. The two-story structure, about two-thirds of which is cantilevered above ground, includes private and open offices, conference rooms, a workroom, break room, fitness area, testing lab and outdoor spaces, said spokesperson Katarina Newell. She said its completion date was pushed to November from September due to manufacturer and shipping delays related to COVID-19. Rogersville-based BP Builders LLC was general contractor for the project designed by Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective. Newell said Miller Engineering is leasing its former 4,200-square-foot office for undisclosed terms to Northern Summit Technology beginning in early 2021.

Ozarks Elder Law LLC
Springfield-based Ozarks Elder Law LLC added offices in Branson and Lebanon, and it’s now operating in seven communities. The firm opened Dec. 1 in Branson, at 500 W. Main St., Ste. 201. It occupies roughly 1,200 square feet of shared space with Licata Bankruptcy Firm PC in the Branson Financial Center, said Ozarks Elder Law owner Lori Rook. The Lebanon office opened Nov. 1 in temporary space, at 237 N. Adams Ave. Rook plans to move by March to 100 N. Jefferson Ave., where she said it will occupy 1,500 square feet. Rook declined to disclose startup costs or lease terms for the new offices. With offices in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Joplin and Marshfield, the firm handles legal needs of the elderly and disabled, including estate and asset protection planning. A single attorney works out of each new office, but Rook said both should add a support staff member in 2021. Ozarks Elder Law employs 21, including six attorneys, among its seven offices, she said.

Omaha, Nebraska-based Milan Laser Hair Removal opened its first Springfield clinic Nov. 13 at 2754 S. Glenstone Ave. in Brentwood Center North. Rug Fashion Store previously occupied the 1,700-square-foot space before relocating to a larger one in the shopping center, said Brentwood Center landlord Curtis Jared. Milan Laser provides laser hair removal treatments as an alternative to waxing and shaving.
