Uri Berliner, a senior editor at NPR, has resigned from the organization after writing a piece that was critical of the media outlet.
Berliner said in his resignation letter that he was leaving NPR after 25 years.
Berliner recently was suspended without pay after writing a 3,500-word piece in the anti-establishment publication The Free Press. He claimed in the piece that NPR failed to properly cover allegations that Donald Trump colluded with Russia, the COVID-19 lab-leak theory and the discourse surrounding Hunter Biden’s laptop.
