FORVIS LLP promoted Steven Bard to outsourcing senior associate II and Ashley Mueller to senior consultant II. Both provide accounting services to small and midsize organizations, while Mueller also handles consulting for accounting systems, processes and financial statements. Bard holds a bachelor’s in accounting and finance from Drury University, and Mueller holds a bachelor’s in accounting from Missouri State University.

Automotive
O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) promoted Brad Beckham, executive vice president/chief operating officer, and Brent Kirby, EVP/chief supply chain officer, to co-presidents. They take on the role previously held by Greg Johnson, who continues to serve as CEO. Beckham has worked for O’Reilly Automotive since 1996, and Kirby has been an employee with the company since 2018. They maintain their existing responsibilities in addition to the co-president duties.

Education
The Mansfield R-IV School District hired Clint Hall as superintendent, effective July 1, succeeding Richard Wylie. Currently serving as a junior high and high school principal in Gainesville, Hall signed a two-year contract in Mansfield.


Nixa Public Schools named Jeremy McCoy to succeed the retiring Marian House as assistant director of activities and athletics, effective July 1. A district employee since 2018, McCoy currently works as assistant principal of Nixa High School. House has been with Nixa for 24 years, the last 20 in her current role.

Government
Michelle Billionis of The Coffee Ethic LLC, Steve Eudaly of Headline Productions LLC, Mack Musgrave of The Sandwich Scene on McDaniel, Jeff Schrag of Mother’s Brewing Co. LLC and Daily Events Co., Craig Wagoner of Brentwood Management Inc. and Andrew Wells of Dake Wells Architecture Inc. joined the Downtown Springfield Community Improvement District Board of Directors. Musgrave’s term runs through 2025, while the other appointments expire at the end of 2026.

State Sen. Lincoln Hough, R-Springfield, was appointed chair of the Missouri Senate Appropriations Committee. He previously served as vice chair of the committee tasked with writing the state’s annual operating budget.

Health Care
Marie Moore, chief nursing officer at Mercy Hospital-Springfield Communities, and Dr. Tessa Woods, an acute care surgeon at Ferrell-Duncan Clinic/Cox South Hospital, joined the Mid-America Transplant Board of Directors. Moore also serves on the board of the Discovery Center of Springfield and volunteers with Make-A-Wish and the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, while Woods also serves as assistant professor of clinical surgery at University of Missouri School of Medicine’s Springfield Clinical Campus and as a clinical adjunct instructor for A.T. Still University.

The Mid-America Transplant Foundation also added Emily Givens, senior development associate for Bryan Properties, as a board member. She previously directed Lost & Found Grief Center, a partner of Mid-America Transplant Foundation, which provides grief counseling and support for donor families.

Children’s Smile Center appointed new board officers for 2023: President Kevin Yount of Compere Robinette CPAs, Vice President Todd Johnson of Ellis, Ellis, Hammons & Johnson PC; Secretary Jim Brune, retired from Paul Mueller Co., and Treasurer Dr. Tracy Davis of Excel Dental.
