Neighbor's Mill received approval for a $30,000 grant for business interruptions caused by the pandemic.

The company owned by husband-and-wife duo Clif and Lauren Brown ranked No. 1 in its category this year for Springfield Business Journal's Economic Impact Awards. Neighbor's Mill reported $2.4 million in 2019 revenue and 85 employees.

Other top recipients in yesterday's grant round were Custom Powder Systems, Hudson Hawk Barber & Shop and Jimm’s Steakhouse and Pub, each of which were selected for $25,000 grants, according to the release.
