“No matter what role you’re going to play in medical care, you’re going to have difficult situations and so, I try to help them to learn how to do that with integrity and respect and grace and passion,” says Patricia Dix, M.D. Dr. Dix is the Director of the Regional Perinatal Center at CoxHealth and one of Springfield Business Journal’s Most Influential Women for 2017. She says she learned leadership skills from her upbringing and those who mentored her. Dr. Dix hopes she helps those she mentors to be comfortable with the difficult questions and situations that arise in healthcare.
