Missouri House Speaker Dean Plocher is being accused of obstruction in an ethics probe against him.
The House Ethics Committee has alleged that Plocher obstructed the investigation by pressuring witnesses and refusing to cooperate.
The House Ethics Committee found a lack of direct evidence of ethical misconduct in the investigation of Plocher related to advocacy for a six-figure software contract, the firing of a former staffer and the filing of false expense reimbursement reports, according to the Missouri Independent.
