Meta shares rise on Q4 revenue beat

Facebook parent company Meta's shares rose by nearly 20% in extended trading on Wednesday after the company reported its fourth-quarter results.

Revenue of $32.2 billion was higher than the $31.5 billion expected by analysts.

Meta also announced a $40 billion increase to its stock repurchase plan.
