Window and door manufacturer Quaker Windows and Doors is planning a $30 million expansion in Eldon, located 30 miles southwest of Jefferson City.
The expansion would add a vertical paint line and grow the facility's insulating glass production.
The company expects to create 220 jobs as part of the investment.

Under construction beside the existing Republic branch of the Springfield-Greene County Library District – which remains in operation throughout the project – is a new building that will double the size of the original, according to library officials.
