Lenexa's longest-serving mayor to retire

The longest-serving mayor in the history of Lenexa, Kansas, is retiring.

Michael Boehm is exiting after 20 years leading the city.

Since Boehm took office in 2003, the city's population has grown by nearly 20,000 residents. Additionally, the municipality relocated city hall and created a new downtown district during that time.
