Posted online

Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY) President and CEO David Foss is slated to speak alongside executives from Simmons First National Corp. (Nasdaq: SFNC), Bank of America Corp. (NYSE: BAC) and other financial companies at a virtual conference hosted by Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC).

Foss is scheduled to appear at the conference tomorrow with Simmons Bank Chief Digital Officer Alex Carriles to discuss how regional and community financial institutions are competing with modern banking technology, according to a news release. The two are presenting at Wells Fargo's Bank and Tech Pop Up Virtual Conference.

"Simmons' digital experiences have been a strategic differentiator for the bank even before the pandemic," Foss said in the release. "I'm proud to join Alex in sharing how community and regional banks are leveraging technologies to compete – regardless of their size or location."

Simmons Bank last year increased its digital banking customer count by 30% and earned an iOS App Store rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars, according to the release.

The presentation by Foss and Carriles will follow a conversation from Bank of America and J.D. Power on big bank technology wins.

Jack Henry last month reported roughly flat fiscal second quarter earnings of $72 million. Simmons Bank's most recent financial report showed a 7.2% increase in 2020 net income to $254.9 million.
