Hacker group claims responsibility for Christie’s cyberattack

Hacker group RansomHub has claimed responsibility for a Christie’s cyberattack.

The cyberattack, which occurred days before Christie’s spring sale began, took some personal data of clients. A spokesperson said no evidence exists suggesting financial or transactional records were taken.

Hackers with RansomHub reportedly said Christie’s failed to pay a ransom when one was demanded.
