Project description: An automatic tunnel-style car wash is being built at the southeast intersection of Glenstone Avenue and Cherry Street, a site formerly home to a Bear State Bank and, prior to that, a First National Bank. The Take 5 Car Wash joins others from the chain in the city; the company website lists car washes at 1411 W. North St. and 3705 W. Sunshine St., as well as a Take 5 Oil Change at 2340 N. Glenstone Ave. BP Builders Project Manager Lane McMurry says others are on the way. Customers can choose from four wash modes, and an unlimited membership is also available. The facility will have 16 vacuum stalls and a Pro5 Detail Center, offering Armor All Professional interior and glass cleaner products and microfiber towels after any wash.
