Project description: OakStar Bank is expanding into Nixa with a September opening of a branch that will feature a two-story atrium, a conference area and a rooftop patio, along with offices for the company’s BrightOak LLC renewable energy financing company. Officials with Baron Design have said the building will have white architectural metal panels and gray stone veneer, features that are part of the banking company’s signature design, and the bank’s oak leaf logo will be visible from behind its atrium window. OakStar Bank is a locally owned, Springfield-based bank offering personal, business and private banking services. Its website lists 17 branches, a mortgage center and 15 ATMs.
