Joining their ranks in the spring on the city’s main strip, U.S. Highway 60, will be Culver’s. Featuring indoor and patio dining and two drive-thru lanes, Culver’s serves up ButterBurgers – according to the company website, a never-frozen beef patty that is seared and served on a buttered and toasted bun – as well as flavor-of-the-day frozen custard, to which customers can add more than 30 mix-ins and toppings. Chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries and cheese curds are other specialties of the franchise, which is based in Wisconsin and has more than 800 restaurants in 25 states, according to a news release from the company.
