Forvis Mazars LLP, which operates in Springfield at 910 E. St. Louis St., has acquired a Tucson, Arizona-based company.
The asset acquisition of The Innova Group was finalized March 1, according to a news release. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal expands Forvis Mazars' presence in the health care consulting market, officials say. Innova has 30 years of experience advising hospitals and health systems nationwide.
“We are always looking for opportunities to meet our clients’ evolving needs, and bringing Innova on board will do just that for our health care clients," Forvis Mazars CEO Tom Watson said in the release. "By adding these additional focused advisory capabilities, we are deepening our support of organizations as they navigate complex decisions and prepare for what’s next."
Through the purchase, Forvis Mazars is adding nine executives, nearly 50 employees and a new office in Tucson. Employees in the Austin, Chicago and Dallas markets will join existing Forvis Mazars locations.
Forvis Mazars ranked No. 10 on Inside Public Accounting's 2025 annual list of the top 500 firms. The company reported $2.2 billion in net revenue for the list released last summer, according to past reporting.
