Mickey Moore, CEO of Tomo Drug Testing, discusses some effects of the company’s growth that have been simultaneously encouraging and challenging. Moore says in a growing company, you have to learn to delegate, which can be challenging because you don’t want to let go of certain areas. Moore also says each company is unique and no single strategy will work for everyone. While he believes there are fundamental business concepts and strategies, “what one company does, doesn’t mean it will necessarily work in another,” says Moore. A safe room and classroom addition at Willard Central Elementary School will be used by the music, arts and athletic programs for a district that had 4,536 students last year, according to Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education figures, but school officials say enrollment is projected to grow.
