Branson nonprofit Faith Community Health Center Inc., which operates a charitable health clinic, has installed a new leader.

Kyle David started as executive director on Oct. 31, according to a news release. David most recently worked at health care software company Phreesia and has past experience as director of operations for Mercy, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“Health care should be equitable for all,” David said in the release. “Faith Community Health does a fantastic job filling the need for whole-person care in our community. I could not be more excited to continue to lead this organization into a future of growth, witnessing the transformation of the lives of those we are privileged to serve."

David takes over for Anne McGregor, interim director since September 2021, who is returning to the nonprofit's board. Kenn Tilus, who led the nonprofit for nearly six years, resigned last year, according to reporting by Branson Tri-Lakes News.

"We have taken the last year to prep and fertilize the soil for the right leader to plant and grow in. Kyle is just that leader," McGregor said in the release. "His understanding of the region, being a native to it, as well as his comprehension of the field have all the right ingredients to move FCH forward."

Faith Community Health recently announced a $100,000 capital campaign for its new headquarters in Branson. The 12-year-old nonprofit plans to relocate to 1232 Branson Hills Parkway from 610 S. Sixth St., where it has operated since 2010.

The organization provides income-based primary care, mental health, vision and prescriptions for the medically underserved in Stone and Taney counties.
