Bass Pro Shops is adding its third store in Pennsylvania.
The company announced in a news release plans to open an Outdoor World store in South Fayette Township, a southwest suburb of Pittsburgh.
“It’s an honor to serve the sportsmen and women in the Pittsburgh area, with genuine friendly, expert service and to help outfit them for adventures as they enjoy Pennsylvania's great outdoors,” Bass Pro founder Johnny Morris said in the release.
The two-level store would be part of Newbury Market, which according to the development's website is a 300-acre, $450 million project located south of Pittsburgh.
"We are extremely excited to have such a great and unique retail brand join our Newbury Market development," said Craig Cozza, president of development firm Cozza Enterprises, in the release. "This one-of-a-kind super retailer will differentiate our project from all others and will catalyze other one-of-a-kind new to market concepts to join us."
The Bass Pro store is expected to open in early 2026.
Bass Pro currently has 171 stores, according to its website.
