Want your computer, tablet or smartphone to do more work for you? David Brazeal says apps don’t usually work together because Apple considers it a security issue. The Shortcuts app allows you to resize photos, share a sports score update, or even share to a task management app. “There are really unlimited uses for an app like Shortcuts and it’s just a matter of exercising your brain to think about the thing that you might do over and over that could stand to be automated. It’ll save you a lot of time in the long run,” says Brazeal. In each episode of our monthly series, App-titude, David Brazeal takes a look at a different app that makes his life easier, more convenient, or maybe just a little bit better.
