Josh Inmon was in elementary school when he watched his first live theater performance. He knows the power of art and has dedicated his career to bringing renowned entertainment to the Springfield community.

As the assistant director for Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts, Inmon, 34, oversees marketing buys to support Broadway plays and musicals, symphony performances and concerts that come to the venue. He also assists in managing 200 volunteers. Additionally, he is a director and choreographer for productions on another prominent local stage through the Springfield Little Theatre and is a faculty member at Drury University, where he created a performing arts management course.

Next up is creating art of his own. Inmon says he’s working with financial guru Suze Orman to turn her children’s book into a musical to teach students the importance of financial management.
