2022 40 Under 40: Brandi Bailey

Snyder Construction Group LLC

Posted online

Brandi Bailey uses positivity to tackle any challenge as vice president of business development and marketing at Snyder Construction Group LLC.

“I believe my natural ability to problem solve and lead people through challenges with an energetic beat allows people to see me as a trusted leader,” she says.

Bailey, 39, enjoys mentoring students at her alma mater, Missouri State University. She is on the boards for Women in Need of the Ozarks and Lost & Found Grief Center. Additionally, Bailey and her husband own BB’s Bolga Baskets, partnering with Africa-based weavers to raise funds for medical screenings.

First job? A carhop at Sonic with four of my best friends from high school.

Best productivity hack? I turned off the Outlook email popup notifications. It’s amazing how much of a distraction those actually are.

Professional aha moment? If you aren’t getting rejected, you’re playing small. I want to win every pursuit, but that’s just not realistic, so I learn from it, don’t let it deter me and don’t take it personally.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever received? I’m reading “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. He says, “When making plans, think big. When making progress, think small.”

Most treasured possession? An American flag necklace from my grammie.
