Trump administration orders DeepSeek removed from civilian agency systems

The Department of Homeland Security is requiring civil federal agencies to remove DeepSeek products from their information technology systems.

The Chinese artificial intelligence company is also barred from federal procurements.

DeepSeek is reportedly putting mounting competitive pressure on Silicon Valley developers.
