Gail Noggle, who has more than 25 years of experience in economic development and community building, has announced her retirement.
She's scheduled to retire as president and CEO of the Economic Development Partnership of Bolivar and Polk County on June 16, according to a news release. She's led the economic development nonprofit for seven years.
"Bolivar and Polk County has been my home away from home these past seven years and will always hold a special place in my heart," Noggle said in the release. "I have genuinely enjoyed my employment in this great community and will miss you all when my retirement day arrives.”
During her tenure, Noggle led the formation of the current standalone nonprofit, which previously was the Economic Development Alliance for Bolivar and Polk County. Businesses that have received expansion incentives through the help of Noggle include White River Marine, Mercy, Missouri Prime Beef Packers and Citizens Memorial Hospital.
Noggle's experience includes leading the Republic Area Chamber of Commerce, planning and development for the city of Republic and owning an investment firm for seven years, according to past reporting and her LinkedIn profile.
Rebecca Baker, administrative assistant for the Economic Development Partnership of Bolivar and Polk County, said the nonprofit’s board of directors has plans to meet this week to determine the next steps to hire Noggle’s successor.
