General Motors beats analysts' expectations for Q3

General Motors topped Wall Street's expectations for its third-quarter results.

Adjusted earnings per share were $3.70. Analysts were looking for $3.63 per share.

Revenue of $50.02 billion was ahead of expectations of $48.7 billion.
